In any case, we’re celebrating this Holiday at Living Arts with a fragrant and quite diversely colorful shop full of gorgeous flowers, and we’re officially taking orders!!

This year we have a couple new features added to our Holiday regime. As in past years, we will be having our famous roses, red white and pink selections available, as well as a wide variety of other flower options all in warm beautiful color schemes for those who love flowers but may not love the mascot flower of this season. In addition we will offer our signature Living Arts Bouquets, available as Hand Tied’s, or Vased. The final and most exciting new feature this year is our Mobile Red Wagon, which will be traveling around Lyons on Thursday, Valentine’s Day, selling quick, convenient Cash and Carry Roses to-go. You can buy as many as you like, of course, but we will be offering special price breaks for Single, 1/2 Dozen, and Dozen Roses.

Not long after that, as we enter November, the Lyons Community Foundation will be hosting their yearly Gala on November 9th, a fundraising event at our very own local wedding venue, Lionscrest Manor. This will be a night to celebrate the town’s success, while raising money for the continuation of our little town’s expansion, and this beautiful evening will be decorated in part by none other than Your’s Truly.  Living Arts is proud, for the second year to participate in the commencement of this years celebration. We will be providing all floral centerpieces, along with Kahlie Sue Pinello and her beautiful guitars and ukuleles!

And ending the Holiday season will be the Holiday Parade of Lights, as has been tradition for many decades now. We will also continue to provide the community with Quality Exquisite and Unique Floral Design for all of your 2012 and 2013 Holiday Celebrations and flower needs.

Of course as we get closer, anticipating the arrival of the 2013 Wedding Season, we continue to build plans, partnering with The Lyons’ Farmette and Katie Baum Bruzdzinski from Eat Private Chef and Catering Co.vAs we enter 2013, we expect the continuation of our exciting growth, welcoming a new opportunity to expand into the front building at our location, at 324 Main Street, partnering with Daisy and Poncho’s Soul* Sing Boutique.  Here you will able to find our carry-out, take-home line of floral design, created for your convenience needs, as well as a more long lasting gift option, our locally-bought beautifully famous Orchid plants. AND, this is right next door to our other partners, The Corner Studios, at 318 Main Street! My how quickly we’re growing!

The Crew at Living Arts.

 During this year’s wedding season we have been working side by side with the fabulous crew over at the Lyons Farmette here in town, which includes Katie Baum Bruzdzinski with Eat Private Chef and Catering, Co, and of course the owners and employees of the Farmette themselves. Betsy Burton, one of the lovely owners has been continuing to suggest Living Arts to all of her 2012 brides. In doing so, our three teams have had many great opportunities to collaborate, and thus, new ideas have begun to brew.

In a recent meeting after one of the very successful and beautiful wedding events at the Farmette featuring Living Arts bouquests and designs, the owners of the three local wedding vendors got together and discussed building one big team for next year’s wedding season.

We would proudly and honorably like to announce to our community of loyal followers that as of the start of the 2013 Wedding Season, Living Arts Exquisite Floral Designs will become the one and only Featured Florist for the Lyons Farmette. This means that throughout the entirety of the wedding season, these three vendors will be working on all weddings that come their way side by side! Living Arts will be designing and servicing all weddings at the Farmette for brides who choose the Farmette’s full services, which of course, include us!

It has been and will continue to be a wonderful 2012 Season,here’s to a remarkable 2013!
